One touch memory

Featured Replies

Got a bit of a weird one.. the drivers side window on my fab has decided it doesn't like to remember its one touch up and down setting! The passenger side is fine and works as should. If i reset the drivers side it works until i turn the ignition off. Any ideas??

No idea but it's probably due to a broken wire in the door checks

I was thinking that.. could be a remote power wire or something (like when you wire an old school headunit wrong :) ). will have a check tomorrow

The wires do break frequently... Water ingress or corrosion could be a factor too. Pull the switch apart, clean and re-asemble and it may work better.  If you decide the switch needs replacing, They can be cheap on eBay but most will be red illumination for VW's, rather then green, for Skoda's!

Great... The wires sometimes make the mirror switch fail, too!
