Octavia RS TDI 2wd 2017, complete failure to start, displaying full system failure on dash. I was driving my RS

Featured Replies

I was driving my  2017 RS TDI Combi earlier on the motorway. It was raining heavy enough.. Pulled in a filling station, turned it off for 2 mins when I was in the shop. Tried to restart which it did initially for 2secs then shut down and dash board lit up. Displayed warning for go to workshop, dip/main beam failure on both sides, brake failure, ecs/abs failure etc.. I got everything showing.. Rang Skoda assist and they sent the AA, 2hrs late as normal. He plugged car into obd scanner and got no response from the car. He tried various times but the car showed no response.. The lights all worked, radio, ac, everything but car wouldn't stay running...Dirty fuel ruled out.. I heard of a other models suffering total ecu meltdown..Anyone experience with latest RS...Car only has 4502klms

Does sound pretty serious, but it should be under warranty, right?

Not sure if it's the same for you, but here it would be a case of Skoda Assist recovering you to a dealer who should provide you with a loan car until its sorted out.

It's same here, AA brought the car to a Skoda dealership this morning.
