Coilovers needed for fabia vrs

Featured Replies

I'm very new to this forum or any in all fairness so if this I posted in the wrong place I apologise.

i can't find any one selling coilovers for my kind of price I just want some for like £100 while I save up for some proper decent ones cheers.

Brand new on eBay you can get cheap ones for £200, personally i'd go second hand as you'll get something a lot better for the same money.

I'm just trying to get crappy ones until I can get some kw's or somthing like that really just temp because this wheel gap is vile Haha

Your budget is completely unrealistic, save a few quid and wait until you can afford something worth having, it's a car, not a handbag.

I don't think my budget is unrealistic for some second hand joms or fks till Iv saved money up

anyone who wants to fit second hand suspention of the worst variety is a danger to other road users aswell as yourself. dont be cheap. things cost money in this world. a new single shock is 80 quid. juzst buy a set off ebay NEW. they dont last long/wont ever find some cheapskate who bought these and DIDNT kill them befor replacing with something better. if you cant reach 200 quid to buy a cheap new set of coilovers, then you really shouldnt have coilovers!

IMO you need more like £400-£500 to do a decent job. In the short term, a RARB can give some handling feel and tighten things up a tad. They are £150-£220 but only take a spanner and 30 minutes to fit (or 1.5 hours with muttering, tea and head scratching :) )...

Please don't get second hand, crappier,  crapity crap and stick on the front of a VRS. Loads of torque, front end weight and dodgy suspension is a recipe for someone's tragedy.
