fabia cruise control

Featured Replies

has anyone retrofitted cruise control to a fabia and how easy was it?

Think AMD do it using the VAG stuff. I got it as standard on mine (dealer fitted anyway apparently). Give techie a shout via PM he works for them

big k, our resident hammer expert, tried this as an excercise for Skoda and gave it his full thumbs down. It can be done, but only if you have very deep pockets and a mechanic who is into sado masochism.

That's ok as the S&M merchants happen to be the mechanics at my local dealer

I think a couple of members on here have had cruise fitted by Awesome-GTi.

on Octys though IIRC.

Fabia's are different due to a different electrics system. It uses a 'central electrics control unit' (address word 09). Its this that you have to change to fit cruise and last check the unit alone was about
