Evening all - I'm currently driving a 61 plate Octavia 1.4tsi with 118,000 mainly motorway miles

 

Has any one here heard many examples of this engine getting up to and past 150k miles?

 

When would you imagine the 'average' well looked after 1.4tsi would give up...

Watching with interest. My 14 Superb 1.4tsi (same EA111 engine) has over 50k now with zero problems thus far.

 

longlife servicing is the enemy of a cam chain (any make of car) so i changed to 10k servicing when I bought my car
