New Fabia III - 'Beep' on Locking Car

Featured Replies

MY old Fabia II vRS had audible 'Beep' on locking the car. I am told by the garage that I can't have it on my new Fabia III.

I have access to a VCDS but firstly I don't know if what the garage sales person is saying is correct nor do I know which 'bit' I would need to change in the VCDS setup if it is possible.

Anybody able to help please?

You can't have an audible beep I'm afraid.

I have activated it with Carista App

I did mine with Carista as well

+1 for Carista. Works like a charm.

Well, blimey!! Sorry I was wrong...

Cant the beeps be turned on in the settings on the stereo?

Switched the locking beep on mine through that

Only if the car has been configured with the ability to do that. You can also enable this menu option through Carista.

Same here mine came with that option from new via settings on the stereo

So did mine. I'm presuming it requires a factory alarm, so can't be done on a stock S model?
