Intake flap motor power feed.

Featured Replies

Hi.

I know this is a common fault and I've read all sorts on most forums but still have a problem.

2007 Skoda Scout 2.0 diesel. (Not plastic manifold).

Code 08213 intake manifold runner position sensor switch.

Ive checked fuses (all of them- at least 3 times!). I've replaced unit  with 2nd hand to no avail.

My question is: What switches the intake flap motor?

I have bench tested both units and they work fine. I have power supply to the unit (2) and a good earth.

I,m thinking the green wire is the one that feeds it to make it open?

When running an active test via VAG Com and Maxi Diag i don't get any power to the green wire - unit doesn't operate?

What switches the Intake flap motor to turn on??  - I can then retrace the problem.

EGR seems to operate on active test.

Thanks

Mark
