Baby seat with isofix base

Featured Replies

I’m looking for a baby seat (maxi cosi or be safe brand to fit with our travel system) to go on an isofix base in our Škoda Fabia. We tried maxi cosi pebble plus seat today on the 2way isofix base but the babyseat seemed to be tilted too much so worried about baby’s head flopping forwards. Has anyone got a car seat and base that works for this car? The skoda seats seem very tilted backwards which for a backward facing car seat isn’t great!

I think its always a problem especially with newborns. You hear stories about parents having to hold a child's chin up on the way home.

We have a 10day old baby but we use a Jane matrix 2 on an isofix base as this allows the seat to lie flat. We used it for our last child and it seemed fine. The only issue we find this time is that the car isn't nearly wide enough to allow the seat to lie flat and have another child seat the other side. Fortunately we don't travel 4 up in that car.
