I believe with all other Skoda models, the standard Skoda warranty for all markets is 2 years. It is Skoda UK that provide the 3rd year here.

Just taking a read and noticed the 'Event Data Recorder' (page 8).

 

There's a black box on board, available to help investigate 'exceptional traffic conditions'.

 

I wasn't aware of this. Basically gives the car's vital signs in the 10 secs leading up to the deployment of safety restraint systems (presume seat belt pre-tensioners and airbags).

 

Has this sort of thing been around for a while on mainstream cars?

 

I have a 2015 Volvo XC60 as well as current Yeti, and didn't think either of them have this.

My 57 plate Freelander had similar noted in the manual so it's been around a while
