Alloy wheel/rim protectors

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've frustratingly curbed my wheels a few times, despite having tyres that are meant to have some sort of protective lip on them.

So I'm thinking of getting a refurb, and then fitting some of those alloy wheel protectors?

Like these sort of things:

https://rimblades.com/rimblades-shop/

has anyone bought anything from the above or have experience of this type of product?

many thanks!

Interested to know also, I am interested but have heard they can cause issues behind the area they are stuck to, possibly dirt and water sticking and causing corrosion?

I've been thinking about Rim Ringz, they don't need glue or clips to bond to the wheel.

They look quite easy to fit, but are a bit dearer than rimblades.

Interested in what others think?

I wasn't aware of these. They do look decent. I would also like to know more!

My wife collects her new Kodiaq tonight, so thinking of getting a set of Rim Ringz for her car.

If I do then, I'll let you know what we think of them......
