Really annoying plastic rattling from back seat

Featured Replies

Can anyone help me... my Fabia has developed a irritating awful plastic rattling. Appears to be coming from some where in the back behind the drivers seat.

ive had a quick scout about but can’t find anything obviously loose... any ideas where to start looking?

Best thing to do would be to whip everything out of the car, and drop the rear seats  - might help you pinpoint something........

The rubber stops for the rear seat backrest is the usual starting point. A dull knocking sound?

It sort of could be classed as a dull knocking. Thought id solved it last weekend when I figured the trim in the boot was loose... put it back, and it didn’t fix it

I’ve had another look this morning and all the trim that’s next to the back seat on both sides appears to have come out of its place/holders. Tried putting them back but just all come out again

Swimbo & I found a good cure for rear seat problems- we got married

I've just bought some of this tape to line the inside of my rear load cover runners on each side, to stop it chattering. Drives me mad.

On another note, does anyone know of some cheap (but decent)  sound proofing carpet/liner (with pre-applied adhesive), that I could get for my boot floor? (how much is normally needed?) Thanks.
