I’m looking to see if I can unlock all doors and boot with one press of my key fob on my 2012 vrs Octavia 

The easiest answer to that is to check the VCDS map and see who's nearest to you, usually a couple of beer tokens does the trick but it varies between people.

 

if you want to do it yourself then buy yourself an OBD dongle thingy-m-bob, I think it's called ELM327 (please check! I'm not 100% sure) and then download an app called Carista.

As the Carista website no longer shows the customisation available before you buy, I can confirm that Carista will do what you want on a 2012 car.

Should be able to change it under the setup area of the MFD (VRS has full height MFD in the UK doesn't it?)
