LV change of mind on RaceChip Pro 2

Featured Replies

As my 170cr Yeti is soon to go out of warranty I thought I’d try out a RaceChip Pro 2 at £199.

Called my insurers - LV - and was quoted an extra £27 and was told to call them back once it had arrived and I was ready to fit it....

Called them back a few days later when it arrived only to be told I was misinformed and they do not cover them!  I had them escalate my complaint but there was no budging them, but resulted in a £35 cheque from them.

Looks like I’ll be looking for a new insurer....

Being called a RaceChip probably doesn’t help either.
