New turbo or service Exchange

Hi lady's and Gents.

Its time for me to get a new K03s turbo as mine has blown. Im not looking for a hybrid or upgrade so may we please stick to the topic.

Ok Im trying to find out wether to get a service exchangr turbo or should I get a new turbo.

Turbo dynamics supply a new turbo for £603 all in and universal turbos will supply a service Exchange for £492 all in.

Now my question is. which is the best turbo? a service Exchange or a new turbo. I have heard that aparently service exchange units are just the same as a new unit as new units are recon anyway.., is this true?

can someone please give me some advise.
