Hello everyone. 

 

I killed my beloved 5 series on Friday with the rear of a zafira. My first crash in 15 years of driving! I'm distraught as I absolutely loved it and coming from owning aircooled VW's my whole life rwd is where my heart lies but the old BMW ate half my savings so now I need a large estate and reasonable servicing costs.  

 

After doing some reading up it seems that the Superb estate is a worthy replacement and hopefully won't have £300-£400 jobs needed every third moon! I'm slightly worried as I've had more modern VAG group cars and they have all been what I would call "nails" but I've had a few Skoda recommendations now. 

 

I'm hoping to get a 2013 on elegance but we will see what I can find. I'm sure I will have plenty of questions and I thank you in advice for any that I may be given!

I have come from a 2016 Mercedes CLA 220 AMG sport to a 2010 Skoda Octavia VRS 200BHP petrol and I am not disappointed, hopefully this helps with your concerns
