My fabia did this again today, started engine, drove off and lots of lights came on the dash including power steering, handbrake, abs, asr and maybe a few others cant remember, was also beeping at me. So i turned it off and restarted and it was fine again. This is the 3rd time it has happened now so thought i should investigate. VCDS scan came back with following:

(ignore the airbag communication issue, thats because I haven't reset the module after unplugging the switch, and also the issues with the HVAC flaps)

Car has a new battery and is charging properly which was my first thought.

Anyone know what it might be?

hair line crack in the ABS main fuse on top of the battery??....or break in ABS main wiring by connector?

I've had a good look at the fuses and they seem fine.

ABS wiring will be next to check. Will have to remove airbox i think to get access.

Wiring issue most likely.

The connections in and around the battery and they are bad for main earth leads for corroding at joints

Thanks for the replies, tomorrow will see if i can remove the earth and clean it up, then check over the wiring to the abs

Strange as car drives absolutely fine when warning lights arent on. ABS still functional afaik.

Mine does this but ive no faults in mine.
