Evening all,

I have purchased some Octavia outer door handles for my Fabia VRS (55 reg) and have had them painted the same colour as the car.

I am looking to remove and fit these myself and have been told this is fairly straight forward?

I have read the helpful post on fitting the handles http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/113882-removing-a-door-handle-fabia-and-octavia/#entry1428639

and have started by removing the door bungs in order to locate the screws to remove the handles, however I cannot locate the upper screw (Which I beleive is a Torx 20?)

Has anyone done this job and am I missing something or do you need to locate these screws by feel through the small holes? I have looked through the holes with a torch but still cannot see the screw heads?

Any advice greatly appreciated regarding this and the job as a whole.

They're deep in there, you can't see them, you just have to fish for them blind.

Shine a torch in there, you'll need a long torx bit. Picked a set up from machine mart. Or get on YouTube.
