been a seat toledo v5 owner(and very happy too) for my past two cars.rear ended  two weeks ago-v5 is a write off.now looking at octavia vrs ,question is diesel or petrol.my miles varies with work but assume over average.anyone have an opinion?

Hello daz welcome along to the Skoda forum if you do one or two runs over 30 miles a month to give the engine a good blow out go for the diesel  if you do a lot of stop start with the engine not getting up to temp petrol with diesel being nailed to the cross go for one with ad blu it will be longer before there fazed out how long are you going to keep it ???

hi Jed, looking around 09-10 plate maybe,dont know if these older models come with ad-blu.last month ended up going to omskirk,warrington,manchester and preston with work hence why i am looking at diesel.i tend to keep cars until they give up or someone writes them off.

Hi 09 10 don't come with Adblue 14 15 they changed over to Adblue if your doing the miles that's OK .

I have a 2016 vrs diesel and that doesn't have adblue.
