Haynes manual

Featured Replies

If there is no Haynes manual for my Roomster am I forced to buy one of these online electronic manuals?

how good are they?

I always attempt things myself but often can't find the part I'm looking for so need locations etc.

You don't give the year, but you might strike lucky asking for help on the Rooster Forum.

There is a Fabia MK2 Haynes manual which would be pretty useful on much of your mechanical components & procedures possibly,

other than anything involving the sliding doors.

Thanks VWD and AwaoffSki,

I find most work relatively straightforward but locating parts is always a nightmare.

I'm definitely going to have a look at the Fabia Haynes and hope it guides me towards many happy hours of motoring.

She's an 08 btw.

Hi Michel,

Worth adding your car's age to your "profile/signature" thing.

If you are searching online for parts, the Skoda part number is often displayed along with pictorial search results; or ring your local Skoda parts dept and ask them to quote you a price for whatever, ask also for the trade price, and the part number!!! Then you can choose whether to buy online, or "the real thing".

George ("awayoffski"), the Roomster doesn't have any sliding doors, nor does the Praktik van version.

Not aware of any Skoda with sliding doors.

Doh sorry,

i was having a senior moment there mixing one up with my posties van & it will be a Vauxhall.

So the Fabia manual will be pretty good then, or likely even a Polo one if that covers a 1.4 TDI.
