How to dim dash Vrs Mk 2

Featured Replies

I have had my Fabia vrs mk2 since new for 5 years and for the life of me I cannot find a way to dim down the dash particularly whilst driving at night. In my vrs mk1 there was a roller wheel to the right of the steering wheel to dim the dash but nothing on mk 2, any help out there please, I know its been 5 years but whilst driving the other night I realised why I was getting blinded at night, the feckin dash its to bright.

If you were really determined, you could increase the value of the resistor in series with each of the relevant LEDs on the cluster PCB. Or there might be a simpler, more elegant way of achieving the same effect, if anyone has investigated the control circuitry?.

@hutchysrs50, have you done anything with mk2 cluster lighting?

Hey Pete, I’ve changed a few colours and displays but nothing relating to brightness.

Its a problem I’ve read for a few years now, I’m sure I can knock somthing up for night driving though
