Hi all, when I bought my car the garage had valeted it and sprayed cockpit shine on the dash board the trouble with this is that the sun ( when it's out ) reflects off it and the glare is almost blinding. Have you any suggestions as how to remove it or give it a matt finnish, thanks.

If it is a nasty sticky and shiny spray on dressing try wiping it off  with a dry microfibre towel, 

you can then purchase some matt dashboard wipes to remove any dirt and finger prints from the dash and maintain the matt finish
