Replacing A.C. Fluid container with desiccator

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My Aircon is completely empty, took it to a garage to get regassed and as they were filling it up it was just venting back out from what seems like the fluid container. So no wonder it is completely dry.

See part 14 in the attached image, as they were regassing you could feel it spraying out around this area.

How tough is it to replace this, more importantly has anyone done this on here and have any tips?

Cheers!

it should be simple enough to replace BUT the system WILL need vac'ing afterwards and so it would seem sensible to leave it to a specialist   having checked they are not ripping you off (pricewise) first
