Hello,

I have just bought a 2014 (63 Reg) Yeti 4x4, my first Skoda.  Under 20K miles, one owner in great condition.

i have been very impressed with its handling, particularly over the recent cold snap.

Nice one @Carboy0 , welcome to Briskoda

Thanks Clive, I am trying to work out what mileage to expect it’s has a 140ps diesel, 4x4 and manual gearbox.  My brother in law bought a 170ps diesel manual gearbox Yeti (2016) last year and he reckons that he’s getting 46-47 mpg, so far I am averaging around 40-42 mpg.

It could just be my driving style, or is there a ‘thing’ about fuel economy that I should know about?.

I have been checking the Yeti forum pages, but other than the ones on the defeat upgrade, I am struggling to find any advice.

46-47 mpg is also exactly what I'm getting from my 170 manual diesel, I don't think there's any special secret to it, most of my journeys are under 20 miles, but they're steady miles without any excessive acceleration or speed.

Hello CarboyO welcome along to the Skoda forum good to see your enjoying your new 4X4 Skoda .B)
