MY18 “easy access” guillotine?

The easy access (kick-to-open) boot in the Superb wagon is also “kick-to-close” for MY18.

Is anyone else having the same problem of it being hypersensitive and closing with little provocation?

I’ve had to turn the whole “easy access” system off because it’s almost squashed me a few times. I might add, that I’ve done nothing with my feet that I don’t otherwise do when loading any other car. 

Unfortunately, one can’t turn off easy access close individually from the infotainment system. It’s  either all on or all off.
