Does anybody have any specialist knowledge of the best way to clean and protect the alcantera trim I.e stop it cracking scuffing or looking like the dog chewed the bolsters ,also stop the leather steering wheel n gear knob from delaminating . 

These were issues I had with an fr leon.

I scotchguarded my Alcantra upholstery and it served me well when I recently spilt some tea on it. Daren't let the kids trample their muddy feet over the back seats yet, so they’re banned from the car for the foreseeable future!
