Hello

Featured Replies

Just saying hi.

I've had my mk1 octavia vrs for over 3 years and done a fair amount of work keeping on top of all the standard issues including all the common sensors, rear door locks, rear wiper motor, maf , breather pipes and 4 free coils courtesy of the Skoda recall.

As of now everything works bar the cd changer!

Before I bought this car I'd changed cars every 2 years max.

I did consider a change but I don't want to spend a fortune and my VRS fulfils all my motoring needs.

Having just put 4 decent 225/45/17s on it and being about to do a full suspension refresh after 106000 miles on the stock stuff ( I have a file of paper work an Inch thick back to day one ),

I think I'll keep it for at least a few more years.

Anyway , biography over.

I doubt I'll be contributing much to technical threads as my knowledge is minimal , but I very much appreciate all those who do as you've saved me a fortune in diagnostic fees!
