3rd January 2018 price list

Featured Replies

I see there is a new price list (effective 3rd Jan 2018) on the Skoda UK web site

Briefly comparing it with the October 2017 list (but not closely scrutinising the two) I find:_

Car prices are the same

Base specs for each grade (SE/SE Tech/SEL/Edition) don't seem to have changed except that SEL no longer has Smartlink+ (whatever that is)

LED interior light package now includes chrome/dark brushed trim

Appears to be clarification regarding some entertainment/communication options (eg Bluetooth add-ons)

Clarification of spare wheel options

Cost of some paint finishes are now slightly higher

Other option prices don't seem to have changed

Skoda haven't clarified the situation re "smoker's pack" which they still say is not available with Jumbo Box with 230V and USB socket (Jumbo box not shown as a standard feature nor an option).

No mention of the digital dash though (previously mentioned on this site as being a Q2 2018 option).

Smartlink+ is now in SE (it was just smartlink before) - so is presumably included with SE Tech too.

Warning triangle has been deleted though - cheapskates!

Yes, after my post I saw the deletion of the warning triangle and thought much the same.  Whilst not a legal requirement in the UK I did think a "free" one was a positive move.

The money saved will certainly go a significant way to helping cover dieselgate - not!

Is the deletion of the triangle bringing the Karoq in line with Yeti spec of past. I looked for a triangle in my 2014 when I collected it, but one was not supplied.

Colin

There was no triangle in my Superb Elegance (2014) so the cost cutting on that item began before dieselgate...!

Many tens of thousands of Skoda are delivered and have no Triangle in countries that a Triangle is not a legal; requirement.

I know it isn't a legal requirement in the UK, but it was included in the Oct 17 spec....but has been removed from the January 18 one. Probably an oversight in October.

please rename this thread to 'triangle' and i will unsubscribe

As a Configurator or Website / Spec sheet will often say, there can be errors.

Like the 5 year warranty error.

With a Skoda site those errors are often there for longer than other manufacturers sites even after people are contacting Skoda UK.

Good if now they are correcting quicker, it does safe having the same old discussions with sales people.

Maybe they should have a 'report' button or the likes . They can use that after trying to bluff through some answer to why something is not there.
