Can anyone confirm for me whether the Octavia estate (the previous model on a 53 plate) has ISOFIX mounting points for child/baby car seats ?

My 2001 Octavia saloon has them, so I am sure your estate will have them, as far as I am aware all VW group models have them.

If you go to the back seat and put your hand between the seat and the rear cushion you will find the fixing mounts, also have a look in the handbook.

I found the installation of the ISOFIX car seat very easy and they are so sturdy, I would never go back to a seatbelt fixing for my child.
