I know there’s loads of threads and posts about this well known problem but trust me Iv read them all and no help!

iv replaced the solinoid the boot switch everything checked every fuse in my fuse box nothing is blown all interior lights on you name it Iv tried it. Any help or suggestions welcome.

Check the wiring in the rubber boot, make sure you're getting continuity in them all.

I'm having a chuckle as this happens to mine as well, but only when I park on a hill or my drive which is quite steep. Any thing more than flat and it's a no go from the boot. Like you I've checked all the bits and bobs but still nothing. I've tried the wiring and again nothing. I put it down to my fabia not being interested in any " back door action," unless on the flat.  Sorry I can't help but if you find a cause let us all know...... please : )

The only thing I haven’t changed is the orange catch but there’s no motor as if there’s a blown fuse or no power going to the solinoid, Iv tried checking all wiring with a multi meter but can’t seem to get anything Iv heard the voltage is to quick for them or somthing?
