Featured Replies

Hello where will I find tyre pressure for Škoda Fabia 1.2 se looked in manual and in car but can't find it or does anyone know them save me looking :)  thanks

Open the fuel filler flap.

There are recommended pressures for different tyre sizes and loads in the car.

Reading the chart from left to right.

First column is the engine size and power output. eg 1.2 litre with 51kw of power.

The second column is a list of all the possible tyre sizes that the car will be fitted with.

Look at the tyres on your car and find the size. All the tyres should be the same size.

If it starts with 165 or 185 or 195 then use the figures in the top row of the chart.

Follow along the row from the size on you car to find the pressures you use.

If it starts with 205 then use the bottom row figures.

At the top of the third and fourth column it show diagrams of cars with the front of the car to the left.

The possible number of people that are in the car are shown above the car.

The amount of luggage/weight in the boot is shown between the people and the car.

So if the car is empty/light then use the figures in the third column.

If the car is full of people/weight use the figures in the fourth column.

These columns are split in two with the left figure for the front tyres and the right for the rear tyres.

The pressures are shown in Kilopascals first and bar after the /.

100 Kilopascals is the same as 1.0 Bar.

Check your pressures when the tyres are cold and don't forget to check the spare as well.

Use the highest pressure listed for the spare in case it needs fitting to the rear when you have a full load.

Hope this helps.

Thanks AG Falco.
