Anyone know the official service schedule ovtavia 2.0tdi sel 65 reg

Featured Replies

Hello I'm having a few problems trying to find the official service schedule for my 65 reg 2.0 TDI SEL i've tried the usual google searches but not found anything on it for certain.

I also got intouch with a dealer they told me they dont have the info which was a bit of a suprise but suggested her service department to ring me back which they have not at the moment.

I'm sure skoda uk would know but im wondering if any techs/ experienced members on here would know.

I literally did the lot on the 1st service oil+ filter, fuel filter, air filter, pollen filter which was less than 9k ago so this info would greatly help going forward.

I'm unsure exactly but i believe air filter is 56k oil every 9k-18k.. fuel and pollen around 35k

Thanks for any help

Who did you speak to at a Dealership, the cleaner?   They are likely to know more than a Service Desk receptionist!

You did lots.

What a Dealership spends more time on is the Free Vacuum & Wash and the Inspection, report, roadtest. diagnostics,

or just ticking the stuff.

Unlikely wheels are coming off or any Maintenance other than topping ups, changing consumables as you have done.

The Fixed Service / minor  @ 372 days / 9,400 miles is Oil & Filter.

Major 2 years Oil & Filter, Pollen Filter.   A/C Service, Extra cost.

3 Years Minor & Brake Fluid,  Haldex.  Those are Extra Cost.

4 Years Major,  40,000 miles DSG,  ( DQ200 7 speed no Service)

maybe Air Filter, maybe Pollen, unlikely Fuel Filter.

It is all hit and miss.

Thanks awaoffski it was a live chat thing to a service desk but i was half expecting to not find anything out.

I guess im a bit infront then service wise so would you recommend a simple oil and filter next service then as a minor then next one go full ham again at the next 10k miles with the filters just to  treat it good.

I will be treating it as 10k minor 20k major as i do around 30k miles a year

At 30k a year you'd be better with variable, which is max 18k between services. 3 dealer services a year is going to get expensive!

If you stick with the minor/major/minor thing, be wary of being charged for a major when little more than an oil + filter change has actually been done. A lot of stuff in the major list is *if required*, but plenty of dealers will be happy to charge you for the full major regardless of whether they have done everything.

cozza, is it a car you own yourself so no need to follow Manufacturers Guidelines or be concerned about Warranty Claims?

You are as well doing what you want when ever then.

Pollen Filters and Air Filters being something that is about location location and the environment and easy to check,

those sitting in city gridlock behind smokey busses and taxis maybe needing Air filters changed more often the drivers in the countryside,

and countryside drivers in the summer in areas with farms growing and harvesting grain also needing to check or change more often.

(drivers usage rather than some person in Continental Europe's ideas.)
