Stock Speakers / Assist systems

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any opinion on the sound quality of the Karoq SE L stock speakers? My dealer has the Edition model with the Canton spekaers but they didn't impress me.

Also, can anyone please confirm if the 1.5 Petrol SE L trim DSG comes with heated seats, auto light assist, traffic sign recognition and park assist? I can't see any of this information on the website. Thanks!

you should state what country you from as spec varies by country.

the pricing pdf document will have most of the answers

sorry, I'm in the UK

I have been driving a Karoq for the last four days with standard speakers and have found them to be adequate for me (on FM and DAB) but I did not push the system at all which is where the more expensive set-up will prevail.

Thank you Danny. Is your car the SE L? Do you have auto light assist, traffic sign recognition and park assist? Thank you. also, is yours a DSG and, if so, does it have steering wheel paddles? Can I also ask if the SatNav on the 8" Amundsen offers the choice of 3 driving routes? And, finally, do the wing mirrors dip down when you reverse? Sorry for all the questions but I thank you for your help.

I have had the car for the last four day, (going back tomorrow) from the dealer to test with the wife. It was a 2.0 diesel SE L 4X4 manual. It had auto lights and wipers but not auto head lights. The lights were LED with AFLS (adaptive front lighting system) plus ACC (auto cruise) which for me takes some getting used too. No traffic sign recognition, well I did not notice it anyway or park assist. Did not test the sat nav but I presume that the three different routes is there. The eight inch screen is quite impressive especially as I have come from the smaller screen size .

By the time it goes back tomorrow it will have covered over 200 miles.

If you have any other questions and I can help please feel free to ask.

Danny - many thanks for your reply. My only other request was did you notice if the left and/or right wing mirrors dipped down slightly while reversing (to help see the kerb) and whether the rear view camera is a good reversing aid. Would you recommend this over, say, a similar Seat Ateca? Thanks again.

On  the SE L you do not get dipping door mirrors it is an extra that has to be had with memory seats as well. The rear view camera is very similar to the Ateca (probably the same camera from the parts bin) in the screen view. The "final" approach line on the screen is still, understandably a few inches away, as in the sensors but it gave the wife a lot of confidence when reversing.
