My son-i-l just noticed that my front blades on my 2003 Fabia  Comfort hatch need changing (one is ripped).

Car is at home, and as is I wouldn't drive it to get the blades.

Looking up on line I see  both 21 and 19 inch are advertised for the vehicle, and different fittings.

Can anyone advise, please, this out of touch oldie, what he should buy?

19 inch for the passenger side and 21 inch for the driver's side. On my Fabia I had Bosch wipers which were great, I have just replaced them with some flat blades from Asda of all places, £14, for the pair, the driver's side is actually 22 inch on mine now but works fine.

Europarts is a good place to buy if you want Bosch or similar but if you have an Asda nearby they are also a straight fit and seem ok so far.

Thanks! Stupid I know, but it was later I realised the blades are of unequal length.

Just seen on a vid that the blade design has evolved since 2003. The hook is gone, replaced by Retrofit flat blades
