Clio 182

Featured Replies

Wotcha, as my Moscow trip is postponed for a month I am at a loose end this week so went up to the renault dealer this morning.

Had a drive in a Clio182, no in depth review (Mr Birkett does that every second post :D :D ) but what a fantastic drive. Fantastic, but tarnished by a rear wiper that would not turn off, just wagged it's little tail like the scenic on the advert and had it's airbag warning light on. Not confidence inspiring but bugger me sideways with a yardbroom, they don't half drive well.

On another note, they had some brand new MG-ZT's in Blue with the 135bhp TDCI Engine, just a fraction over

 at the rear wiper. You need to pull the right hand side stalk towards the wheel

Had a drive of one when they came out.

maybe im bitter but they arnt that good

ZT's are a bargain at the mo - just too big for my garage.

Parts are available, just make sure the garage gives a decent warranty

Go on - you know you want one.

Not exactly brand new. The MG's now at dealers have all been sitting around in a field since the company went bust.

Fair point, but still a lot of car for the cash. all the same, they don't float my boat :D

seating position in the clio was a little unusual, reminded me of a mini in some ways (Proper ones, not the bmw rip off), but everything I have had to pay extra for on the fabia was there, apart from the tree stump pulling torque.

They have delivery mileage 182's for

Not all in field some dry stored. Also how many 'other cars' are stored for much longer.

But seriously they are a good buy - the diesel version has a BMW engine in it.

Now if only I had the space and the cash..... Furby VRS and ZT.
