Guys can anyone tell me if injectors can tap quite loudly , I was driving to clear the dpf light when from no ware I have a tapping sound from them engine, lifters have been checked recently replaced sumps bene off and big ends looked at it doesn’t sound like big or little end or crank mains either but does sound top end, mechanic thinks it could be an injector, any one had this before ???
