How loud is to loud Recirc

Good evening ladies and gents.

I have a simple question. well not simple for me.

How loud is a recirc valve not ment to be.

Since having a new turbo fitted iv noticed that when im just crusing and lift my foot off the accelerator my recirc valve is quite noisy.

There could be two culprits that answer this question.

could it be part of the hose is not connected and its just going into atmospheric.

or iv also noticed when changing gear i get a sudden power loss. could this explain that its not getting recirculated into the system hence loosing power for a second through gear change.

Your input would be appreciated.
