Morning gents,

 

this morning I had a couple of strange incidents main on being my climatronic system making a weird ticking/buzzing from behind the glove box:

• goes away when system off - doesn't change with aircon on or off
• system still works correctly
• gets louder when on recirculate

at a guess it sounds like a leaf, stick or paper has gone down the dash and is catching on the fan

took my pollen filter out and motor housing, couldn't see anything or hear anything.

 

re-installed with filter out switched the motor back on full and after a few seconds a small piece of paper with numbers (I assume a part code) came flying out.. happy days no more noise
