I've just ordered my first Skoda at the weekend - a Superb 280 Estate L&K (Quartz Grey).

I can't wait till it's delivered (up to 3 months lead time unfortunately!). I managed to get a test drive in one, and I was mightily impressed.

Hi Keith, welcome to the forum.  I'm also from Northumberland  (Bedlington) I've had my 66 plate Octavia SE L for just over a month now and love it.  Moved up from a 13 plate Focus and enjoying the same fuel economy and much more interior room.  Looking at your avatar you must be a biker ?  Me too.  I've got a 2014 Honda Silverwing 600.  An old man's bike.  But then again I am an old man

Hi Den. I'm from Prudhoe, so not too far away. My biking days are long gone now. I used to have a CBR600, but after a few lucky escapes, I decided to hang up my leathers. I still needed the adrenaline rush though, so I built a kit car (which I still have, but it's been off the road for about 2 years now). I was hoping to get the kit car back on the road this year, but I think it'll be mothballed again, as I'll have my new toy play with .

Yes, I know Prudhoe well.  Used to work around that area before I retired three years ago.  Enjoy your new toy when you get it.  I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
