Just purchased a special edition fabia and Really want to widemouth the front end but I don't want to mess it up. Is there anyone on the forum or that you know of for some help with the widemouth that could do it for me. I don't mind driving to wherever

Alternatively you could get it done professionally somewhere near you.

Does the car have a fmic? If it doesn't then I wouldnt bother. Will look crap just seeing the radiator.

Yes it has an airtec front mount

That's alright then lol. It's a pretty easy job to do. Bumper comes off in 5 mins then it's all about using a blade or hacksaw blade. 

 

There are guides on how to do it.

Have you done yours?

Yes when I bought a new bumper from Skoda I redone the wide mouth. 

 

I did mine during my lunch break. Keys is to go nice and slow and double check everything before hacking the bumper lol.

I'm just scared that if I mess it up it's going to end up in me buying a new front bumper

If you have no tools or hand skills then that's exactly what will happen.

There are a couple of guides floating around but because photobucket is a giant pile of festering puss you can't see the photos anymore. 

 

I will be doing it to mine when I got a front mount.
