Trim Squeeking and Clicking

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I've got a 2005 Fabia vRS, all running smoothly and well for the time being but just getting slightly annoyed at some interior noises being produced by trim and plastic bits vibrating and squeaking. Anyone got any advice as to of how to minimise it? or even some better parts that can be replaced with, the main culprits are the door plastic on the inside and my seat (squeaks when turning and using pedals).

Any advice would be appreciated, cheers.

My first vrs seat was silent . The one I have now creaks a bit , probably the only way you can cure that is to get another seat / seat frame .

Plastic rattles are a nightmare,  try removing the offending panel to see if all clips are still fitted , they tend to break and fall out when trim panels are removed for water ingress problems.

Cheers puddy

I think its just the diesel engine rattling everything, mine does it especially on my sunroof and its a pain but just turn up the radio to mask it. If youve got the patience and time to start removing pieces you will probably be able to narrow it down.
