Any suspension deals around at the mo??

Featured Replies

Got a feeling mine will need changing before the mot in August, so plenty of time, but anyone aware of any decent deals on suspension and/or just dampers around at the mo? Was gonna go down the Bilstein route, and there was a good buy & fit price from somewhere in Essex a while ago but that's very much gone now.

We've got specials on the Bilstein B14 and B16 coilover kits at the moment but unfortunately not the B6 or B8 dampers.

Thanks, but had coilovers before and wouldn't go there again.

Blimey, this is disappointingly quiet! :crying:

I'm in the same boat. DPM do the B4 sport damper kit for £200 or so, though not really compared that to many other sellers.

Sorry if I've hijacked but im in the same boat, looked at the b4 but waiting for a good deal. Thinking of pairing these with eibach springs..anyone on here done this?

Cheers

Dunno about those spec dampers, but bilstein eibach seem to be a very pro choice on here. I'm just after replacement dampers on the oem springs, preferably the B6's from what I've read, but I'll take the B4 set as it seems to be half the price.

EDIT: Just saw this, and bearing in mind I drive very positively but relatively slowly, as such (mainly cos I get the speed through traffic on blue lights so happy to cruise in private :)), I reckon the B4's will be fine for my L&K. Looks like the cost is the same as oem as well, give or take.

Any update on suspension offers chaps, mine's gonna get done in the next few weeks??

No an offer as such but autodoc.co.uk tends to have some very reasonable prices on most of the time.

That link doesn't seem to work, item number 142860810876

Thanks, but not after a lowering kit, just the standard ride stuff.

To be honest I just fitted some to mine and I don't think it's any lower than before, probably the old springs were sagging, it's actually more comfortable in my opinion, I can still drive over speed humps and drains as normal, not like some cars you see avoiding a leaf on the road ;-)

Yeah, does look nice, just occasionally I need to go up and down large curb type heights and I've made those lovely grounding out noises once or twice already. That's the only reason I'm sticking to what height I have.
