I've done a fair bit of searching and can't really find an answer, has anybody actually changed out a heater flap motor? I've got a 53 VRs and the climatronic is stuck on full heat. It was intermittent and would usually be ok if left for a bit, but now it's stuck. Various people have said it's a dash out job, some have said you can do it through the glove box. Has anyone had any experience doing it? I sounds like a right old workup!

I've done one, but I have to say I would think long and hard before doing another, as you lose a fair bit of skin in the process if you try to do it in situ. I have never done it by removing the heater box though.
