Does the SEL and Edition models come with textile floor mats as per the online pricing specs brochure, regardless of wether the Protection Pack is ordered? The reason I ask is that when we took our Karoq out for a test drive prior to buying it, I'm sure it had these mats in. When we finally decided to buy the car, we ordered the Protection Pack to go with it, thinking it would comprise of boot/load liner, front & rear mud flaps, and rubber mats front and rear. On collection we were told that the front mud flaps were on back order (fair enough), the boot/load liner was fitted, but when I asked about the rubber mats I was told by the salesman that he'd ordered textile mats in error and that when some rubber mats came in he would swap them for me.

I then said that I was sure that the textile mats were in the car at the time of the test drive, to which he said they were not. All in all, I've had a few minor issues already which has somewhat taken the shine of buying the Karoq. Any ideas? 

My SE L came with standard textile mats.

Thanks bone_tone, I’ve just contacted Skoda customer services for confirmation about the mats, and they do indeed come with textile mats. They in turn contacted by dealer who then rang me to say the rubber mats from the Protection Pack would be available for collection at my (more local) dealer next Tuesday. Result, but shouldn’t have taken phone calls to customer service. Hey ho. Thanks for the reply.

Our Edition came with textile mats, but we ordered the protection pack, so we got both. Rubber mats for the rear are still on back order so we still have the textile mats in the rear. Rubber mats are in the front and the front textile mats are hanging up in the garage. In the spec, textile floor mats are standard on the SE L and Edition, so if you order the protection pack, you should presumably get both as the protection pack is a dealer fit option. We did anyway!! Still waiting for front mudflaps

It's really odd that whoever Skoda use to  manufacture rubber mats and/or mud flaps only produce half the kit, wether it be rear floor mats or front mud flaps. Same goes for the spare wheel issue.

I didn't get any mats with my SE Technology (as they're not standard) and I didn't negotiate including any.  Any of those with 'spares' interested in selling them on?

Seemed strange to me that you buy mudflaps in sets so you'd expect the supplier to manufacture equal quantities of each and the same floormats. Can't imagine they've sold more rear mats than front!!

Could be worse, they could have made just the lefts, or just the right sides
