Can't turn off Childlock

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

Forgive me if this is a stupid post, but I cannot for the life of me work out how to turn off child locks on my recently purchased used 2014 Octavia.

The manual says it can be turned off by the unlock button on the key but I have pressed it a number of times and the back doors will still not unlock from the inside.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks

Ben

This pic from the manual may help p27 if it doesn't come out clear enough

This is the lock for the passenger side rear door.

This slotted head just round the edge of the same door isn't.

What is this? I foolishly turned it thinking it was the child lock slot.
