OEM Handsfree cables for Columbus RNS 510

Featured Replies

I have installed handsfree in my Superb and bought a plug & play cables. After i installed this my right front speaker and sound system dont work as they should.

I bought a OEM wiring harness. And i ask if someone here have installed this before? i am not 100% sure how to do it and if i have to connect the orange cables to the can gateway or not.

i know that the brown cable is (GND), red (+12V), and orange is (CAN signal high and low)

You'll need to connect all four wires to get this working.

Easiest place is to tap in to the power and CAN wires on the back of the headunit :)

How do i power this device on a bench for a test before installing into a car?. Do i have to connect the +12V, CAN- and CAN+ in parallel to the positive therminal of a 12V power supply?

Kindly explain in respect to the diagrame presented.
