Which bushes ARB

Recommended Posts

if its just squeaking you are worried about  get some silicone grease from a plumbers merchants.

its what they use to lubricate the seals on  plastic push fit and drainage seals. it wont react with the  bushes and will let them move as they should without any squeaking. its easy to reaply  if you need to  later as well.

i bought a powerflex torque arm bush this week and it had its own little sachet of silicone grease with it so the manufacturers are confident in it.

I doubt the grease would push out completely  if you are paranoid about it squeaking then you could use some pencil lead on the metal first. pencil lead is graphite a solid lubricant.

There is also a thinner version of the silicone lubricant that is like an oil in viscosity a few drops of that added to the sides of squeaking  bush should  penetrate into the joint and sort it out if you can't be bothered to unbolt and regrease.
