SWMBO has a 2014 Fabia saloon with the 1.2 3 cylinder engine and 5 speed box. Recently, when I had the bonnet up, I thought the engine seemed to slope downwards from left to right and wondered if this was normal. I had a check around the engine and gearbox mounts but couldn't see anything untoward. If anything was loose I'd expect they'd be lots of vibration whilst driving it but all fine.

 

Its probably always been like this and I've never noticed. Can someone with the same car / engine confirm whether theirs also has a slant (once the weather improves ;-) )

Our 2009 1.2 htp also has a very noticeable lean down to the gearbox end. I posted about this years ago with pics. Turns out many others had it too, but not everyone. Our 2013 1.2tsi also leans down at gearbox end but not as much, asked dealer to check but everything ok (what else would they say?)
