Sold a long time ago mate. Also sold the car so I’m onto on a superb with 340mm now lol

I see you're in Denmark. I don't know what the situation is there with respect to buying parts from vehicle dismantlers. However, I bought a pair of calipers and carriers for 312 mm discs from Wigan VAG Parts, earlier this year.

They cost me £40 shipped to Scotland. I only wanted the carriers so that I could fit 312mm discs to my Yeti and I gave the calipers away.

Hi, I'm looking at a 72k mile Skoda Superb 65 plate, hopefully lots of motorway miles. It looks good, my main concerns being the lack of dsg oil change & potential for carbon build up due to direct injection. I currently have a mk6 Golf GTI (EA888 Gen 1) which didn't support dual injection & bit me when the carbon build up & clogged injectors caused a flooded cylinder. I've tried to research this but I'm getting conflicting information around this engine & I wasn't sure if s

Hi, My tensioner failed at low revs and speed, the car juddered and stalled. It restarted and I drove home about a mile steadily. It seemed to drive normally if a little noisy. Next day it would start but not run. The check engine light was on. Pretty sure the Timing jumped a tooth. Q. do the valves always hit the pistons? do the valves always bend? Might I get away with an new tensioner and re-time? TIA

Hi everyone! I’ve been thinking about taking my TDI RS Octavia to a track day, but I know that the stock oil cooling is a critical weak point. My question is whether there is an OEM+ solution out there, like using a Crafter oil cooler, or if I should go with an external oil cooler instead. On top of that, how plug-and-play is an external oil cooler setup?

Car is 2013 Skoda Octavia Mk3 1.4 TSI (CHPA), manual, 118k km driven. Today I noticed an A/C-related droning/humming noise that seems louder than before, but I'm having trouble pinpointing the source. Symptoms: Only occurs when A/C is on. Noise stops immediately when I press the A/C button off (cabin fan still on), Most noticeable at idle and especially after revving the engine and letting RPM drop back to idle. Above roughly 1500 rpm I can't really hear it. Cooling performance is excellen
