Hi Everybody,

Just looking to buy my next Octavia VRS, still split on what to go for. At the moment I’m looking at 13k - 14k mark for a DSG TDI MK3.

would prefer white but pretty open, has to be Auto as I’ve mashed my knee and have just sold my GT TDI MK5 Golf. This was remapped, lowered 30mm on Eibach springs and running EGR delete and mufflerectomy along with WALK kit and a few other subtle bits.

Big fan of OEM+ and the Octavia will be staying very much standard minus a DTUK box or Revo Stg 1 along with possibly some S3 345mm stoppers or similar.

After some guidance of what to look out for, although buying something in the 2013+ bracket I’m hoping not to find too much.

Had a fair few VAG group cars, so hopefully know roughly what I’m buying into!!

Lol they'll let you in and out of Europe at the moment but expect a full cavity search after 2021

Superb iV estate front bump stop length

I have just found a leak on my front RH shock absorber. The car is fitted with DCC, so I am looking at replacing it with the Monroe "aftermarket parts" and also replacing the protection kits and top mounts while I am at it. Does anybody know what the correct bump stop length is for the iV, or how I can find out?

I had a low coolant error flash up the other day (first time ever). Checked coolant level & it was a bit low. Topped it up & will keep monitoring. Question is where has the coolant escaped from? No obvious signs of any leaks. Mileage is 52,500 & next service is away off. Does the 280 have a weep hole in the water pump to indicate a new pump is required?

Hi. Can someone send me an aliexpress/ Amazon link or OEM part number for the correct plastic door card trim fittings please? I broke a couple when fitting my speakers and there were enough left intact to put the door card back on but I’m planning on removing the door cards again for an upcoming project so it would be handy to have a few spare to replace the missing ones and just in case some more go. Thanks!

Hi all, finally got around to getting some new shoes ordered for the girl. I'm getting a set of Hankook Ventus Evo K137 235/45 ZR18 98Y XL put onto the Pegasus alloys. I was considering changing out the locking wheel nut for just a regular nut? Which then prompted the second question, I picked up a set of Alcar 9021 17inch Steelies for Winter Tyres, do I need to run seperate nuts due to the alloy v steel nature? I was looking on autodoc to try and order some nuts as I didn't know how often they

Evening, just looking to see if anyone is experiencing the same issue as me with my Karoq 1.5 Tsi (73 plate)…. So the car has perhaps half a dozen times or more cut out completely when slowing down, no stall / kangaroo or otherwise, power simply gone, resulting in me having to restart the car when in a rolling motion. Very unnerving especially with traffic approaching. I’ve tried to recreate the event on quiet roads with no success so I’ve no idea what action causes this. I had thought
