......have you driven with the fuel light on?

 

Hi everyone, in my old car I knew I could safely travel 25 miles, so I'm curious how far my Octy will go.

I have done 30 miles very carefully and motorway mostly. This is from a frugal 1.9 mk2 

Fuel light in my scout usually comes on with an indicated 60 to 70 miles left. I've done 30 miles with an indicated 0 miles range and still only got a few litres less than capacity squeezed into the tank.

That's how I should have put it. 

Thanks guys, it's good to know that I can still do a commute once the light comes on.

When the warning fuel light it on at my Skoda Octavia 2011 1.6 TDI, my dasboard computer tell me I have fuel only for 90 km. Bu tif i drive on highway I think I can go more.
